Tracy Jackson:
This is the 12 foot tall, 48 inch arm, 48 inch base, 6 foot X brace cantilever section. This is what we call one set, which will hold a bundle of 2 by 4s particle board or plywood, depending on the length. The sections can also be joined together to make multiple rows to, say, hold 20 foot poles or wood. So, pipe, wood, or long, awkward, scratch that whole thing. Cantilever is used to hold lumber, pipe, or long objects that are hard to store on pallet racking. Also, if it’s very heavy, each one of these arms will hold 3,000 pounds.

For single-sided, you’re going to have a base connected with a anchor foot plate in the back. If you’re going to do a double-sided cantilever system, you would have another base where that plate is located. You do need to center this hardware so that you can get a anchor in the back of the actual base. So make sure your hardware is centered correctly to angle it.

We’re going to look at the hardware associated with this structural cantilever column with six foot X brace. The first note is on the basis, you’re going to have four long bolts per base. And if it’s single-sided, you’re going to add an anchor kick plate in the back, anchor holes per kick plate. You will also anchor on the base with two anchors. For instance, if you’re going to put an anchor in the front right, you’re gonna put an anchor in the back left and then another anchor in the back right. It’s just to give it extra stability. And those are obvious in your package, the long bolts. The arms themselves have M20 bolts, and those will be the only M20s needed for the system and it’s 4 per arm. Once we get over here to the X-brakes, the six foot X-brace is slightly different because the X-brace itself, as we said, are angles and you have a spacer in between. You will also have, these are a long M12 bolt. for the X brace. for both four corners. Let me get out here and show you a better view. It’ll take M12s in each of the four corners, one in the middle, and then you’ll have 2 per the horizontal. If you’re putting multiple sections together, this bolt right here will be shared on the other side x-brace. As you can see from this angle, there’s two per horizontal, or I should actually say four per horizontal, two on the left, two on the right. Once you see this, it’ll make sense how to assemble this system. But it can be confusing once you receive it in your yard on what you’re going to do. The other item that’s optional on this are the pipe stops. The pipe stops literally just pull in and out. You can attach a chain on it if you would like. bottom so you can just pull it out and drop it. That is not included with the system but you could rig something yourself to make it work. We wanted to show you what the single-sided structural canoleaver looks like with a 6-foot X-brace. This system has two 12-foot tall columns, two 48-inch bases, three arm levels per column, foot X brace. Also shown are the pipe stops that are an optional purchase if you have any pipe or rolling objects that can come off the front. The system is very heavy duty, holds 3000 pounds per arm. So this is 6000 pounds per level. The 6 foot X brace is slightly different than the 4 foot or 5 foot and that it’s actually tube stop. for the x. If you look here, you’re going to see the horizontal itself is a tube and then angle for the x-brace. There is a double X for stability in the system. to keep it secure on uneven, cut that uneven area, cut that out.

Tracy Jackson: This segment is based on the hardware requirement needed for the four and five-foot X brace pattern on the structural cantilever system. It’s going to have the same base hardware and arm hardware as the six-foot, which are long bolts. There’s four long bolts per base. And four M20s or 3-quarter-inch nuts and bolts for the arms. All of the X-brace will take M12 hardware. There’s four nuts and bolts per X-brace, one in the center, and one in the center. And then the shared horizontals will use M12s as well. And it will share if you’re joining another X-brace set next to it. So all M12s in the middle, M20s for arms, and long bolts. for the basis. Tracy Jackson:Welcome to the Simply Rack and Warehouse Equipment video series. This is based on a structural cantilever system with a 72-inch X brace.

The 72-inch X brace takes different hardware because it’s a heavier-duty strut to support the system. It’s all structural. You are still going to use the long bolts on the left and right of the base.

Again, these are going to be 48-inch arms, 48-inch bases, 72-inch X brace, and 12 feet tall. This system does show the accessory pipe stop that is removable. You can put a chain on there to make it easier to use.

Long bolts on bases, M20bolts, four per arm, and then on the X brace set, you’re still going to use the channel, but this three-inch M12 has a spacer between the X brace system. You will get two bolts and two spacers in your package.

The other difference is you’re going to use the three-inch M12s on the X brace because this X brace struts, the strut is the left to right piece, is a channel. It’s actually a welded, full channel and not just flat-stock.

You will also have the two-inch M12s connecting the bolts just like on the 60-inch and 48-inch, and they do share a bolt if you’re connecting different sets together.
